Arts Without Boundries
Pablo Picasso knew what he was talking about when he said ‘the purpose of art is washing the dust of daily life off our souls‘ and many know the importance of art and have created organizations to foster this concept in communities and personal lives.
Arts Without Boundaries (AWB), located in Montana, is a non-profit group that is dedicated to introducing students to the arts, be they visual or performing arts. The organization works with music teachers and provides guest artist programs and mentoring programs.
On Thursday, June 27th, AWB will be hosting their second annual ‘Artistic Horizons’ an art sale and exhibition where proceeds will benefit AWB. The show will feature over 14 award winning artists including Somerset’s Kyle Sims!
As a native of the West, Kyle Sims’ love of the vast landscapes and the array of animals inhabiting them came naturally. Early exposure to wildlife has made Sims feel at home in the wild among the many creatures such as elk, bison, deer, pronghorn, bighorn sheep, and moose. Guests will be able to mix and mingle with the artist as they wine and dine. Music will be provided by the popular quartet from Bozeman High School, ‘Basement Jazz’. Click here for tickets and more information.
